Hi, I'm Izzy.

I'm a pattern maker, sewist, and the founder of ISMARO Patterns.

I started ISMARO with one simple idea: the things we use every day should be both beautiful and practical & making them yourself is one of the most rewarding ways to bring that into your life.

Whether it's a pair of linen pants you'll wear all summer, a toy storage solution that actually gets used by the kids, or a handmade gift for someone you love, I believe sewing has the power to create objects that become part of our everyday stories.

Every pattern begins with a real problem I wanted to solve in my own life or a void i was feeling in my closet. I spend months designing, refining, and testing each one so you can focus on the fun part: creating something you'll be proud of!

My goal is to make sewing feel approachable, inspiring, and deeply satisfying. Whether you're making your very first garment or your fiftieth.
